Neurodivergent-Affirming ADHD Therapy

Using an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lens and neurodivergent-friendly DBT skills, I help individuals manage complex challenges like inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, while building effective systems for organization and time management. I support clients struggling with academic or occupational performance by addressing underlying issues and restoring confidence. Social challenges, such as understanding social cues and navigating relationships, are another key focus, alongside improving emotional regulation to manage frustration, anxiety, or mood swings. By fostering structure and routine, I help clients create sustainable frameworks for balance and success tailored to their unique needs.

“Parentified” & Only Children

Growing up as an only child often comes with unique experiences and challenges, shaping individuals in ways that can profoundly impact their adult lives. Many only children develop a strong sense of self-reliance, maturity, and independence early on, learning to navigate the world with limited peer collaboration at home. However, this often comes with the weight of intense focus and high expectations, whether from family or self-imposed, which can lead to struggles with perfectionism, anxiety, and a persistent fear of failure. As adults, these patterns may manifest as difficulties in interpersonal relationships, heightened stress, or feelings of inadequacy despite achievements.

Grief & Difficult Transitions

Grief comes in many forms - whether sudden, anticipatory, or ambiguous - and it can leave you feeling lost and overwhelmed. As a trained End of Life Coach and Death Doula, I provide integrated grief therapy to help individuals and families process their emotions, find clarity, and move forward with connection and purpose. Together, we explore ways to honor your loved one, including creating legacy projects like letters, photo albums, or meaningful rituals that preserve memories and foster healing. Whether you’re facing anticipatory grief, coping with unresolved loss, or struggling to adapt after a loved one’s passing, I offer a supportive space to navigate grief, build resilience, and find growth in the journey.

Fees

I am not in-network with insurance.

I provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement or FSA/HSA use. As an out-of-network provider, I don’t accept insurance directly, but many PPO, POS, and HDHP plans offer benefits once your deductible is met. Check with your insurance for details. Insurance requires a diagnosable mental health condition and “medically necessary” sessions, but coverage can be retroactively denied, requiring repayment. For this reason, I recommend planning for sessions as out-of-pocket expenses.

My “money” philosophy:

I respect your time, energy, and financial choices throughout your therapy journey. Therapy progresses at its own pace—some sessions feel ground-breaking, others less so. Incremental progress is key, and we’ll adjust the approach as needed to suit your goals. My fee structure varies based on the number of participants and the session length, which ranges from 45-minute individual sessions to extended, intensive sessions. Please reach out directly for details. Your comfort and progress remain my top priorities.

Good Faith Estimate:

Under the Public Health Service Act, you have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate for the cost of non-emergency medical services if you don’t have insurance or are not using insurance. Providers must give this estimate at least 1 business day before your appointment. If your bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you can dispute it.
