What’s Your Why?

“I have always been passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, particularly during their formative years. My journey into mental health began with a strong foundation in Early Childhood and Special Education, where I gained deep insight into how individuals learn, grow, and build meaningful connections. Beginning as a Direct Support Professional in a group home, I expanded my expertise across intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), educational settings, and various public service roles. These diverse experiences have shaped my holistic, integrated approach to therapy, allowing me to address the unique needs of children, teens, young adults, and families”.

Rachel holds a Master’s of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, and is nationally recognized as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Rachel’s specialized training includes DIR Floortime Therapy, DBT Skills for Neurodivergent Clients, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (I and II).
